I just got a reso at Ohana for 6:55 and am super excited! How long does dinner usually last? We are taking our 2.5 year old and our first day in the parks will be the next day. Making sure we won't be starting toooo far behind on sleep. Thanks!
Yes, this. We love 'Ohana but it always seats late. Always.I would expect to not be seated until 7:15 or later, then it will be about 75 minutes to eat.
While I often read feedback like this, we've dined at 'Ohana since 1997 and we've only been seated late once - with a 30 min wait. Our dining times have been early, late, and everything in between. Funny how different the experiences can be! I definitely agree with figuring on a minimum 75 min dinner.Yes, this. We love 'Ohana but it always seats late. Always.
Not a fluke. So I would say 2 hours, but maybe our experience was a fluke?
Curious as to why it would take so long to eat once seated? Besides relaxing and enjoying your dinner, does the wait staff the servers that come around with the skewers not come around as often? slower? or is it just people sitting longer and enjoying? i also heard there's activities for the kids - so does this play a part in the slow movement?

Due to work demands, we're so used to eating on the fly, that slow and casual usually doesn't apply or work for us. This will definitely be an interesting trip.
We've eaten there a bunch of times and have also only been seated late. Last year in fact, we checked in early planning to have a drink at the bar and we were buzzed back before we even got our drinks - a good 15-20 minutes before our actual ADR time. While I often read feedback like this, we've dined at 'Ohana since 1997 and we've only been seated late once - with a 30 min wait.
