How long to budget for Ohana

I'm hoping to make it relatively early for the Disney After Hours event on 3/8.

Would it be better to take an early Ohana reservation at 3:50 or a 6:20? I'm not sure how long it takes (it's been 10 years since I went!) and I'm afraid they'll be backed up by 6:20. Although I thought about entering MK at 4, leaving to eat at 6:20, and hoping to be back by 8-8:30.

Thoughts are definitely appreciated!

I would say it's the norm to run a little behind but I think a 6:20pm would allow you to be back at MK by 8:30pm the latest. I've eaten there and we've never been there longer than 1 hour to 1.5 hours even including our wait time after we check in at the podium. Love Ohana, one of my favorites.

I like the early time at 'Ohana because they are NOT backed up yet. I did 3:45 (is that the first seating) before MVMCP in December and we almost missed our 4:30-5:30 Peter Pan FP+... we showed up there at 5:45 and they still scanned us in. so I would say figure 2 hours from your seating time to being where you want to be in the MK with transport, getting into the park etc. That does not include any time to wait for your table. I would be surprised if you made it into the park before 8:30 with a 6:20 ADR and I've seen wait times up to 45 minutes reported.

That's a hefty wait time - thanks for sharing! I love Ohana and want to do it justice. So I'll probably stick with the 3:50 res and hope to be in MK at 6.

I think you definitely will be inside by 6, probably earlier! Like I said, we were at peter pan by 5:45 with a 3:45 ADR and we had a leisurely meal... not rushed but not forever. it didn't seem drawn out to me. We were probably at the gate earlier but getting in, getting to peter pan etc. takes time.
