How long to be notified of a referral?

Friends of ours bought DVC on our Alaska cruise and used us are a referral. How long does it take to be notified from DVC? They returned their paperwork last week.

Usually a few weeks to get the "thanks for referring" letter. Then a while after that before you are notified that you got the actual referral. It's usually a few months in total.
