How long to be in Disneys system?

We closed on our resale contract this past Friday. When should we be in Disneys system? Do I just call each day or will they notify me?

You should be in by now. You can call (the general DVC number then 1 and 1 again at the prompts), tell them you're a new member, and ask them to check to see if you're in the system. It will take longer to get any points transferred and it will take time to get your membership card and PIN. (We closed 5/23 and were in the system by 5/28, rcvd the book from DVC 5/31 but still haven't received card or PIN.) Even if you get your member number when you call, you can't do anything online without the PIN.

I just called MS and they said we were not in the system yet. They also told me it would take aprox. 2 weeks if we bought resale. I hope it doesn't take that long.

There are two steps to being in the system. The first step is adding you as a member. The second step is adding your points. As soon as step one is complete, the MS Advisor can give you your log in info including the pin for the Members website. That way you can check and see when your points are entered.
