Just after some advice on how long people normally leave themselves from leaving the DLR area to get back to LAX for the flight back home? My flight leaves at 10.30pm (on a Saturday). I booked Super Shuttle when we were planning on staying at HoJo's, my pickup time was 6.05pm which I was comfortable with. Now we've changed to Grand Californian, and Super Shuttle changed the pickup time to between 6.30pm and 6.45pm. To me this doesn't seem like enough time, in case of traffic, and to get to check in 3 hrs ahead (I know minimum is 2 hrs but I am a worrier and prefer to get it done early). Tried to get SS to change it and they won't. And I can't remember what time we left DLR last time I was there! Do you think the later pickup time will be OK?

If you are paying for a service and they are not willing to provide it book with someone else, such as Disneyland Resort Express run by Gray Line.
Having said that the time seems reasonable as it is a Saturday so there should be less traffic.

We normally expect the trip to take 30 - 40 minutes from Anaheim to LAX.

If it helps, on a Friday night (peak hour) we usually end up having dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and leave the Anaheim area around 6.15 - 6.30 pm. With dropping off the car hire and the transit to the airport, we're usually checking in by 7.45 pm for either the 10.30 or later flight home. The latest we've ever been is 8.15 pm during peak hour.

At the weekend, I would expect traffic to be MUCH better.

We flew out of LAX for NY early on a Friday morning. We got picked up at 6am and it took just over 30 minutes from GC. The traffic was fair at that time of the morning.

I am sure Super Shuttle will pick you up early if you request it. They always suggest a pickup time but can do it earlier.

I think that sounds fine. We left Anaheim around 5am for our 8.15am flight. We had to drop off the rental car, catch the shuttle to the airport, clear security and we made it in plenty of time.

It probably is OK, I'm just a panic-er and really hate the thought of bring late. And DVCAustralia, I was thinking of cancelling SS and going with DL Resort Express, I've had a bit of trouble with SS making the changes and getting them right (fair enough I have changed hotel twice, but I've sent really clear emails with all the details!) The first time I changed hotels they stopped replying after I sent the 3rd email about changing the time, and the second time the reply I got was quite rude (and not helpful, they wouldn't change it) and has put me off a bit.
