How long should I expect to wait on hold for a DAS interview on 5/24?

My daughter is autistic and we are going to apply for DAS 30 days before we arrive.

We check in on 6/23.

We’re on the west coast so my plan is to be online at 4 am pacific (7 am eastern) and get in the queue.

I’ve already told my daughter she needs to be prepared to get up and talk with the cast member as soon as we are connected.

She leaves for school at 8:20. What are the odds that a cast member will be able to speak to us in the first two hours?

I can’t imagine it would be a longer than 4 hour wait… or could it?

I know that closer to July 4th is busy for the parks so I’m worried about the das interview staff taking longer the closer we get to June.

It’s a crapshoot. But I’ll give you my experience from last year. I, too, called about the same time of year from The west coast. I’d called at 4am and only had a 15 min wait (YMMV). It took longer to pick the preselects for all 7-days but I think I was finished within 45 min total. But again, this was last year.

Just a bit of clarification - the window for doing the DAS video registration is 30 days to 2 days from your first park visit, not your check in.
It’s really hard to say how long you will be on hold. The last time I did it for my daughter, we were on hold less than 45 minutes. That was on a Sunday morning

Last week it took me 3-1/2 hours. The site was annoying as it kept kicking me out tho I didn’t lose my place in line.

6 months ago it took me 10 minutes to get in.
Called at the same time. Go figure.
