How long - Redondo Beach to SFMM on a weekday?

We are staying in Redondo Beach and want to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain on a Thursday. If SFMM opens at 10AM and we want to pull into the parking lot at 9AM. What time should we leave Redondo Beach?

I live in Redondo Beach and to me Thursdays seems to be the most busiest freeway traffic days. Anyway I would suspect that it would take about an hour give or take 15 minutes. You are going to have to cross several busy (105, 10, 101) freeways including merging with the 5 freeway on your way to SFMM. Nevertheless, I'm sure if you enjoy roller coasters you will really enjoy yourself.
