How long on hold when making ps?

Soon it will be 90 days out from my next WDW trip. I plan to call at 7 am each morning to try for my ps. I am wondering how long some of you have been on hold at that time. It's not a problem for me to get up that early, but I have to make sure the kids get to school on time. If they miss the bus I can take them to gain an extra 30 minutes, but I don't think their school will excuse them because I was on hold with Disney dining!

I will be trying for Chef Mickey for dinner, Ohana, Kids' Pirate Cruise, Cooking Adventure, and the Garden Grill for lunch. I know the kids' activities have limited spaces, but I hope I can get into all of our meals.

I called mine in tonight ~ 77 days from our travel date. I was on hold ~ 5 min at 7:45 tonight. Got all the times I wanted dead on, including Chef Mickey and Ohana breakfasts. Took about 20 min to do 6 reservations. I had an incredibly friendly CM too. Made the time a snap.

If you call right at 7am you are more likely to be on hold for a longer amount of time. This morning I was on hold for right at 30 mins before getting a CM. Amazingly I was still able to get Cindy's even at 7:30. I would call later since most of what you want will not sell out, you might call for the kids stuff right at 7am on your 90 day mark, but the others should be fine later and will not keep you holding long distance for so long. When I'm not calling for Cindy's or a cruise, I call at later times and the wait is usually very short. Good luck and have fun.

I would wait until a little later as what you want usually doesn't book up right away-although I am not sure about the pirate cruise. That early in the morning is overrun with people wanting the princess meals and your wait times could be long.

I called this past week around 9am. Wasn't on hold for more than a few minutes. I was able to make our PS very easily even with having 12 people. I also booked the Pirate Cruise at YC/BC for 2 kids with out a problem. When you book your Pirate Cruise, make sure they get the right one, my CM was confused because she kept trying to book the one at GF.

I also used the PS calculator that I found on the DIS board homepage. It worked great so I knew exactly which day to call.

You will be on hold for at least 30 minutes if you call at 7. We called at 11 and had no wait at all. We were still able to get the pirate cruise without a problem!

Have called three times in the past week and have never waited more than 5 miniutes each time. I called yesterday (sat) and the other times were around 6:00 p.m. Mountain time. I just make sure I have something to do while I wait like watch tv!

I made all my PS 90 day's out at 6;55 AM was off the phone by 7;05 AM
A few day's CM pick up early .


One call I made at 7;01 AM to change a PS , was on hold until CRT was gone,time was 7.22 AM. SO HAPPY I HAD MADE MINE. I also used two phone's can help.
