How long must we wait? The suspense is killing us.

Recently purchased resale through TSS. Closing is being done by Timeshare Title in More. Received closing documents last Monday. Signed and sent cashiers check in immediately and they recieved everything on Tuesday. Title Co. says they will notify us when closing is final, but have not heard anything yet. Just being impatient, we have a trip planned to WDW in early Oct. and currently have a cash back up reserved but would really like to stay in our home if possible.:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

I have seen it take two months from start to finish.

 Congrats!

We're on the opposite end, just started looking at add-ons through resale. We have a LONG wait as we want a specific point value and use year...

We recently changed our deeds with Orange County, it took them nearly 3 weeks to process the quit claim deeds for some reason. It shouldn't be that long. Disney is quick to recognize new owners once they get the paperwork, it took less than a week for the Vacation Planning Guide to go out once they had the updated deeds. Membership cards can take 4-6 weeks we were told, but you can always get temporary cards at the preview center in SSR.

Hopefully, your talking about two months from when the original offer was accepted by the seller.

From offer to close.

Don't wait for Disney to contact you. Wait a couple of days after you close and call MS. Your account will be added first, then a day or so later, your points will be loaded. If you don't receive your membership card before your vacation, you call pick one up at the Preview center at SSR.

We closed a couple of business days after our check and paperwork were received by the title company. The title co had already received the seller documents, though. Our seller thankfully sent everything promptly, more quickly than we did, in fact. Not all sellers move as fast and that could delay your closing. You may want to e-mail the title co to find out if they received the seller's paperwork. We closed on a Friday and our points were in the DVC system the following Friday. Best of luck...hope you'll be booking a DVC stay very soon.
