How long is too long for pie crust?

Say you had a pack of pre-made pie crusts in your freezer for the last 3 to 5 years, would they still be edible? This is all theoretical of course, I would never think of using something that old to make turkey pot pie for my husband and sons....

I just read the box recently and it said 3 - 5 months NOT YEARS!!! LOL
