My DH and I really wanted to try Beaches & Cream this trip and I know you can't make ressies for this restaurant. So I was wondering how long is the wait usually for a lunch meal? We'll probably be going pretty early in the day, anywhere between 12pm-1pm. I guess that's not that early to some people  Any help would be appreciated!

It fluctuates. You might need to wait 30 minutes or longer. Or you might be seated sooner. There's really no way to determine how quickly you'd be seated.

The doors open at 11am, and even then I've seen a few families waiting, all seated fairly quickly.

. . . I was wondering how long is the wait usually for a lunch meal? . . .

1) One of the great questions of society, along with
. . . Why can't women put on mascara with their mouth closed?
. . . Why doesn't glue stick to the inside of the bottle?
. . . Why don't you ever see the headline Psychic Wins Lottery?
. . . Why is abbreviated such a long word?
. . . Why is a boxing ring square?
2) Actually, is all depends upon
. . . weather
. . . number of people wanting ice cream
. . . phase of the moon
3) Seriously, you won't know until you get there.
4) The wait could be minutes, or it could be 45-60 minutes.

Depends on how many people are in front of you.

I went March 14 of last year for spring break. At noon there was already a 30 min wait. It all depends on the crowd. Deff try to get the Kitchen sink. :goodvibes

Our family of 5-7, depending on the trip, have never waited over an hour. That was only one time but we really wanted that kitchen sink :rotfl2:

Any other time and the wait was less than 20 mins. We have been at various times of day and year. I believe that counter service is available as first come, first served. I would inquire about that at the podium as well.

So basically what you're saying is you don't have a clue? Got it. Thanks. ;)

We went last year in Oct around 11:00, shortly after opening and there was no wait. Before we were finished it was full and people waiting outside. I would go early if I didn't want to wait!:yay:

can you put your name on the waiting list and then have a look around the resort? we'd love to explore

That's some funny stuff. I will liberate some of it, and claim it as my own. yes, I have no morals, but, then again, I am an EVIL scientist...

To the OP, you are going right at lunch time, but, if I read your sig correctly, you'll be going at a pretty slow time of year. My guess is that your wait would be 30 minutes or less. Go for it. :thumbsup2

I was solo at the last week of Nov. 2010. I had a short 10 minute wait for a seat at the counter at 12:30.

I'm off to test the mascara issue. :lmao:

In May we were told it would be a 45 minute wait.. we waited barely 10 minutes before they seated us

As others have said, it fluctuates and you'll never know until you are actually waiting.

You have to wait to be seated at the counter too, but if you are willing to sit at the counter you will usually be seated faster. I love sitting at the counter and watching them cook burgers and make the sundaes. We were disappointed our last trip because they made us sit at a table :sad2:.

As everyone else has said, it just depends. We went one day and walked in with no wait and there were several empty tables. Right as our food arrived I mentioned to our waitress that they didn't look very busy today. She looked at me odd and said there's a 45 minute wait. We were at the counter so my back was to the rest of the seating area. During that time the empy tables had filled and there was a good size crowd waiting to get in. So if we had arrived 15 minutes later, instead of walking in with no wait we would've been waiting 45 minutes.

You are too funny!!!

Thank you for the replies! Yes, we are going to be going at a not so busy time of the year so I'm hoping our wait will be relatively short. I guess we will just have to go and see! :goodvibes
