How long is dinner at Liberty TT vs Columbia HH

The title pretty much says it all, but... We have an arrival day dinner reservation at Liberty Tree Tavern. How much time should we expect to spend at that meal vs if we cancelled and opted for Columbia Harbor House instead? Also, how much more delicious is Liberty than Columbia? (I've read and watched reviews of each, so am generally familiar with the menus, but would love to hear more opinions.)

We only have about 2-3 hours to spend in the park before we want to go back to the hotel to get the kids in bed. We're hoping to hit our 3 FP+ rides, plus 1 or 2 other low wait time rides. I'm starting to think that the dinner reservation will just eat up (ha ha) too much of our time.

You are correct. No way in heck would I schedule an ADR if i had 2-3 hours in MK. I'd grab food on the go and eat! or skip a meal altogther! ha! I'd probably grab a snack and keep moving. But in your case, CHH is definitely your best bet if you want time for rides and your FPs.

If you ask for the check at the beginning of the meal and mention to the server that you are pressed for time, any family style meal in WDW can be enjoyed in around 30-45 minutes, depending on how fast you eat and excluding the time it takes for them to assign you a table. At CHH, you could be out of there in 15-20 minutes, but you'll eat a lot less food unless you order multiple items per guest.

While the food is ok at LTT, it is not out of this world. Some people hate it and rate the place as the worst family-style restaurant in WDW. I do not agree and find the food comparable to what you'll get at Garden Grill and other similar restaurants. We go there mainly because we enjoy the theming.

CHH is one of the better QS places in WDW. The portions are generous and there is ample seating. We put it just above Peco's as our favorite QS in MK.

Thanks!! Going to cancel the ADR! Also relieves the pressure if our flights are delayed and/or if the kids decide they'd prefer to swim instead of going to MK that night.

Smart plan! sets the tone for a relaxed beginning of a trip :) I have 211 days to keep dreaming

yeah I would not be doing that with 2-3 hours in the park. better ways to spend your time!
