When I was going to have mine in Feb., my wedding planner told me to schedule her in for about 4 hours.

My planning session (in two weeks ) is scheduled for four hours. The only tasting that it includes is for our cake. We are doing our menu tasting this fall, six months out from our wedding.

mine was 6.5 hours ong with tasting and planning. but we had an epcot reception so we had to travel there and back.

another question about the planning session

i sent in my menu and they sent it back saying i have to cut back on what i want to taste?

how many items did you taste?

what ones did you not like?

did anyone have the anitpasta display for the prereception and what s on it??

We just scheduled ours yesterday. We've been told to meet our coordinator at Franc's at 9am and that it will go til 1pm. In that time we will be going over everything with our WP, meeting with the florist for 1-1 1/2 hrs, and doing the cake tasting. As others have noted on other threads, we will have a 1 1/2 hr break, then meet our WP back at Franc's to go to the menu tasting which is scheduled for 2:30pm-4pm.

Out of curiosity, how many items did you put on your list to taste? We just got the plated menu checklist yesterday and were reviewing the items to start making some decisions. There are spaces for: 2 appetizers, 1 salad, 1 intrmezzo, 2 entree's, and 1 desert.
