What's the current wait time for Mission: Space? I've been hearing there are little or no waits.

What's the longest you've waited and do you see a pattern in longer/shorter waits?

THANKS!!!

we were there last sept, early oct and walked right on both times. that was the last time i will be riding though, hubby will have to do it by himself. it made me feel funny for at least 2 hours after, and i can handle any roller coasters, but this ride did me in...

When we went in May it was a walk on basis...no wait or 5mins wait at the most. The CM at MS said most people are chickening out when they find out they are spun around like a gaint centrifuge!! I don't like rides that spin, so I was one of those chickens!! I can't even do the teacups so I didn't want to risk it!!

Crikey...

Last October when I went, it was upwards of an hour all day, every day we went. Needless to say, I decided just to single ride it and was on in 10 minutes each time.

It does make you feel a bit funky, but nothing that bad, IMHO.

When we went the first week of May it was walk on which TOTALLY surprised me!!! :earseek: Usually a new WDW attraction is pretty packed for the first year it's open!

Or, in the case of Test Track, is packed for the first several years following opening!

I think it depends on what time of day you go. When we were there, the wait times were well over an hour until around 6PM. There didn't seem to be a long wait early in the morning at park opening either.

Maybe you'd should try right after lunch time. I sure wouldn't go on it with a full stomach:p :earsboy:

I think when went the last time in May it was about 30-35 minutes. That was at 11:30 AM or so.

Last Saturday the standby line said 30 minutes, but it was more like 50. The line completely stopped moving for a while, we were speculating that someone got sick on the ride and they had to clean it up. After the delay, it moved fairly quickly again. When we got in line, the single rider wait time said 25 minutes. We couldn't get a fast pass because we were holding them for test track.

I was also there on Sunday, May 6th. However, I went at 8 pm at night and I was the only one in the entire cue as my roommate did not want to go on the ride. there was NO ONE in any of the 3 lines nor was there anyone in sight trailing behind me.

In addition, when it came time to enter the room for the pre-show "pre-flight" safety briefing, I was the only one in the room by myself. it was kind of spooky in a Rod Serling type way to be in that big ride all by yourself as if the park was closed. The only people around were the Cast members.

Wendell, that would have creeped me out.

Same thing happened to me and my DD4 on the Haunted Mansion, around 10:30 one night. BBBLLLLLUUUHHHH!!! Gives me the creeps just thinking about it.

When we went in April (week before Easter), MS had a 25 minute wait at 3:30. I think that was Sunday.
I was surprised that the wait was so short!

DS and I enjoyed the ride BTW, although he did feel a bit more unsettled than I did. No long term negative effects really for either of us.

We were there last New Year's eve and timed it so we would get fast passes so that we could ride it at mid-night. I think we got them at around 10:30 A.M. so I guess we "waited" about 13 1/2 hours to ride.;)

i think i would want to time our first ride on it until right before we're planning on leaving the park for the day....just in case we get 'funky' as someone put it....
well...i won't be riding it no matter the time of day...but DS and DH....(DD and I would most certainly get major funky....we can't even ride rock and roller coaster without ending up in bed for the day)....

Well at Christmas, the Standby wait line said 65 minutes, but we ended up waiting over 2 hours! We were stuck in line and they kept adding more and more kinks in the queue. We even saw an outside garden I never hope to see again! Of course a few days later we got to Epcot at opening and had a lovely short wait with FP.
