How long have you known your Best Friend

I have had the same best friend since I was 15 almost 16 years old . I will be 37 this June . LONG TIME ........ I know

That is not really all that odd I guess . People act strange when they find out my oldest and dearest friend is a Man .

So how long have you had yours ?

I'm counting dh as my best friend because he really truly is, so I'll say 22 years - I'm 37, too.

28 years. Spent a couple of days together at WDW last weekend with no husbands or kids. Great to just catch up with each other.

I have been friends with my current best friend for just a year and a half. It is hard to keep a best friend when you move from base to base all the time.
Now my SIL is like a best friend and we have been friends for 10 years and family for 7. She knows all kinds of secrets and is always there. I can also complain about her brother and she totally understands!

I have two friends that I am really close to. One of them has been my friend at least 26 years. The other has been my friend for about 10 years. I love them both a lot and I'm very thankful to have them in my life.

Oh, and they are both female. My husband wouldn't like me having a very close male friend. I can respect his point of view there because I wouldn't like him having a close female friend either.

20 years this December. We've been friends since high school

My spouse is my best friend.

I've known of him since my sister became friends with his sister sometime when I was probably still in grade school.

I first got to know him a little the summer between my junior and senior year in high school, and became great friends with him the latter part of my senior year and beyond.

I'm 34, and he's been my best friend since I was about 18. I'd do the math, but it's too late at night.


Although we're not "close" anymore, really, I do sort of have a "lifelong" girlfriend that I've known since kindergarten. We still keep in touch now and again.

My best girlfriend has been my best friend since we were 2 yrs old. We are both now 32 yrs old - so for 30 yrs we have been best friends and she is the Godmother to one of my DD's.

My best male friend has been my friend since we were 15 yrs old. We are both now 32 yrs old - so for 17 yrs we have been best friends and he is the Godfather to my other DD.

i have 2 very close friends..one guy and one girl.. i have been friends with each of them since i was 12 ..im almost 20 now..so not long, but i still love them!

My husband is truly my best friend and we've been married for 17 years but my best girlfriend I have known since the day I moved from Massachusetts to Louisiana which was a huge change and culture shock for me. It was so good to make such a wonderful friend at a time when I had to leave my old ones behind. That was Novenber 1978 so almost 26 years ago and we still are best friends and even though we don't get to see each other as much as we'd like, we still talk on the phone every day. She has recently found out that she has a non-cancerous cyst in her brain and although not malignant, it is BIG and could cause serious problems if it gets any larger. It is positioned deep in her brain and so they can't recommend radiation or surgery. It's just wait and see. It blew me away and I will keep my hopes high since I can't imagine her not being here.

My best friend now is my boyfriend and i have only known him for a little over 5 months.

When I moved away to college I lost all of my friends from high school and I never found a best friend at college.

I've know her since my freshman year in high school. She sat two people behind me in home room, but we never really talked. Then when I turned 25, my mom died and she turned up in my life and she's been the sister I never had since then. We are now 42, so it's been 17 years. I'd say we'll be friends for life.
