how long from MK to Narcooses?

There will be 9 of us going from MK to Narcooses via monorail for dinner, then poss. back to MK. Has anyone else done this & have an idea approx. how long it will take to get there. I can just hear them now "Why did we have to come all the way here to eat?!" (teens in the group) Thanks

Narcoosee's is at the Grand Floridian Hotel so you are on the monorail line. Get on the resort monorail and you should be there in just a few minutes. Grand Floridian is the last stop (monorail goes to the Contemporary first, then the Poly, then GF). Good news is that when you are done with dinner, you just hop back on the monorail and the MK will be the very next stop.

The fastest way to get to Narcoossee's is usually the little launch. It usually docks to the right of the exits at MK....sort of tucked away behind the resort monorail. THe dock at the GF is steps away from Narcoossee's. Furthermore the GF is the first stop so once the boat leaves you will be at Narcoossee's within 5 minutes. You might have to wait 20 minutes or so for the boat though.

Going back you can take the same boat which will then proceed to the Polynesian before returning to the MK. Or you can walk to the main building of GF and go to the second floor for the monorail. But the boat is even more fun and is so magical at night.

However, sometimes the boats aren't operating. And with a group as large as yours, there is a chance you will not all fit on the first boat if there are many other families waiting. It doesn't have the capacity of the larger boats that go to FW,WL much less the large ferry.

Narcoossee's used to be open for lunch. One of our favorite traditions was going by launch to Narcoossee's for lunch.
