How long from closing to get a member number?

How long does it usually take to get a member number in the Disney system following a closing? We purchased from our friend's estate on Aug. 27. The deed is recorded and is showing up on the Orange Cty web site. But, we're still not in the DVC system. How much longer should we expect this to take? I know we will receive a package in the mail, but they say we will be active with a member number as soon as we show up in the system.

It should only take approx 10 days to be in system. I'd try again tomorrow.

Thank you! We did have Labor Day in there so maybe that's why it seems longer. Keep fingers crossed.

I would call again and have them track down your paperwork. Recordings usually take longer then being added to the system. Don't expect a package. For our resale purchases all we received was our membership cards.
