How long on average would it take to have a meal at Jiko.We are thinking of having a meal there after wedding and are also hoping to book the grand 1 for fireworks later so probably going to book yacht for around 7_30pm for the fireworks. Will 1/30 to 2 hours be enough time,if we book the meal for 5-30pm. (7 of us)??

Only eaten dinner here once and from my notes we were there for about 80 minutes. Hope that helps.

I don't think you would make it at 7:30 if you have a 5:30 ADR at Jiko for 7 people. It seems awfully rushed to me. You might be better off at Narcoossee's, Citricos or CG if you want a nice Signature meal before hand. At least this puts you in the right area in case your meal runs a little long. I would personally also shoot for an ADR closer to 5 as I find it hard to enjoy a meal when I am paying attention to my watch.

2 hours sounds about right to me for starting cocktail, appetizer straight to dessert.
Ate there as a party of 6 on December 23rd. ADR was for 6:50 PM and we were seated immediately (pretty sure there was no waiting when we ate there in July as well). Made it back to GF around 9:00 PM to meet up with the rest of the man's family and used the bus instead of a Minnie Van or Lyft.

Depends soooo much on your party. With 7 people, if they have cocktails, bread service, apps, entrees, desserts, coffee and like to drag things out, you could be there 3 hours. That's how it is for us if "Uncle Carl" is with us.

For my wife and I, we were just there a couple weeks ago, and typically are done with a signature meal in less than 1.5 hours. We had bread service, non-alcoholic drinks, entrees, she had dessert.

Probably entrees and desserts and drink with the meal

I agree with previous post - if you were closer to the fireworks, I'd be more comfortable with timing.

Disney is very good at accommodating the need to rush through a meal, but the party of 7-people makes that a bit more difficult.....and then y'all need to get somewhere - and be on-time.

Not likely.
In October, when we ate there, we had to wait 30 minutes for our ADR, everyone was behind. At 5:30, that shouldn't be an issue.
As other have said, it really depends on your party.
When we ahve eaten there, we are then the better part of 2 hours, but we like a leisurely meal.
With a large group, drinks etc, its usually longer.
Also, how are you going to get to GF? There is no bus that goes directly to it. If you have a car, taxi or Uber, it will save a lot of travel time.
What time are fireworks that night? You want to be on the boat about 7:30, but if fireworks aren't till 9 or 10, you have plenty of time to make it work.
