How long for Disney Visa Rewards?

I know it's been asked but I can't find it... I have the Rewards Card already, how long does after I put in my request does it take for the rewards dollars to be transferred to it?

Once you have your card, the transfer of additional rewards dollars to it occurs immediately after you make the request.

I have the Disney Visa and when I go to the website to manage my account and make a payment I don't see anything about my rewards points/dollars.... I did just open the card about a month ago.

Does anyone know if I close by Disney Visa, would I lose my Rewards? I have the rewards card but I just thought I would close the Visa since I have so many credit cards.

Once you've logged into the website, click on the dropdown menu in the "CREDIT CARD" line.

Choose "Manage Rewards" and click "GO".

Near the bottm of the new webpage, there is a button labelled "View Rewards Balance". Click on it and a new window will open up. You should be able to view your rewards balance here.

If you just opened an account and have not been thru one billing cycle yet, don't be surprised if the current balance is zero. It takes one billing cycle for rewards to post.

If you close the account, you will lose your rewards dollars. The account has to be active and in good standing for you to be able to redeem them.

Actually you can pick up a card right away at the customer service booth at Downtown Disney....

I learned this last year while we were down there. (i had lost my card that had 60 dollars on it and was really bummed. I called the Visa people and they said they would cancel the old card and I went the next morning to DTD and got a new card.)

Any card ordered at any time in 2005 will expire Dec. 31, 2007. So regardless of whether you order it today or in October, the expiration date will be the same. If you're the type who is prone to misplacing things, hold off on ordering that card until at least early October. If you like to cross things off of your "to-do" list as soon as possible, then you can order it now.

One piece of advise I will offer: Leave at least a balance of $10 untransferred. Since all subsequent transfers to the card must be at least $10, you will be able to transfer every last bit of rewards money to the card right before you leave, including any rewards dollars that you acrue in that last month prior to departure.

I ordered my reward card about 10 days ago and i just received it, i ordered it online was very easy to do. mine says expires 12/06 not 12/07.
