I originally booked Pop Century online for our trip in September. On Friday I called and changed our reservation to the Caribbean Beach Resort. Today, when I look up our reservation information online, it is still showing Pop Century Resort. Does anyone have any idea how long it usually takes for changes to show up online?

I would call and check on your reservation. The change should show immediately. Last month I switched from All Star Music to Pop. I also had booked online. A few hours after I called CRO, the change hadn't been made when I pulled up the ressie online. So I called back (it was only 4 days before arrival and I didn't want to lose out on an AP rate at Pop), and sure enough, it wasn't changed! The second CM I spoke to had no idea what happened, and I ended up being on the phone with him for 20 minutes while he fixed it. So definitely call. It's better to be safe than sorry!

Same thing happened to me. I booked about a month ago and then 2 weeks ago changed resort and added the Dining plan, but online it was still showing as my old reservation. I got nervous and called to inquire...the CM I spoke to said the website wasn't working properly since they changed it. She then sent me an e-mail with my new reservation information on it. It still to this day is showing as my original reservation.

You might want to call to get an e-mail confirmation and I wouln't worry about what is on the website.

I changed my reservation this weekend from dining plan/magic your way to room only. When I went to intineraries in My Disney Vacation on the website the old reservation came up. But when I entered in my reservation number and phone number in Retrieve my Reservation the updated information popped up. Don't know if that helps!

I have had the same problem with a reservation that I originally booked 11-08. It was in "My Disney Vacation" exactly as booked - until I changed resorts and dates last month (but, not our reservation number), and now only the "celebration" part of the booking is updated. I contacted Disney via e-mail and received this response:

"Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World Resort.

We are currently experiencing an anomaly in our website that offsets the
appearance of reservation components/modifications..."

The CM re-emailed the booking, which is correct. I asked in my e-mail how long it would take for the website to update the reservation, but I didn't receive an answer.

There is something wrong with the Disney website.

My changes don't show up there either and I also haven't been able to use the My itinerary or customized maps features for the past two weeks or so either.

I have called to verify everything on the reservation and they seem to have it right. I also requested a hard copy mailed to me... still waiting to receive that.

I had same problem w/ change I made 2 weeks ago. I finally called Disney last night & they had the correct info in thier system. The CM I spoke to said that the website is having crazy problems and suggested if in doubt to just call them & they will verify the details. They can also send you an email confirming your details so you have something in writting.

UPDATE:

Just did my daily re-check of "My Disney Vacation" and my reservation now reflects my most current changes! It has taken since 2-22, but now the booking is correct online. Hopefully, all of yours will be soon, too.

Thank you WDWKOOK for posting!!! I just checked my reservation, and it's finally accurate. :woohoo:

I think the whole My Disney Vacation page was messed up. I have made three payments in March and none are reflected. I'd be all upset if I hadn't gotten email confirmations that my payments were made. Hopefully, all the "glitches" on their computer system will be fixed soon.

Earlier today my dad switched our room only Contemporary Magic Kingdom View - Atrium Club reservation for the 4/3 deal with the Bay Lake View on the Atrium Club floor and when I went to the My Disney Vacation page and typed in our new confirmation number all the changes were there right away. The only thing were still waiting for is our brand new e-mailed confirmation which has not shown up yet.

You should get the e-mailed WDTC confirmation within 24 hours. We used to get ours almost instantly, but our last confirmation took about 24 hours. We're also booked for August at the CR on the 12th floor. It will be our first CL stay, but 5th at the CR. We were told that the view is not guaranteed (it isn't a room category) for Atrium guests, but that your preference will be noted in your reservation.

Actually for any reservations for the Atrium Club that started on Janurary 1, 2009 you can now book the Magic Kingdom View for the Bay Lake View, so now the view is 100% guaranteed. Here is a link to the 2009 rates for the Contemporary where you can see the changes for the Atrium Club rates.

As for when we would get our confirmation e-mailed to us, sometimes we got it within a few minutes of making the reservation and sometimes it came 24 hours later. There was only one situation where it took at least 3 days for it to arrive and we finally got it when we spoke to someone at CRO who knew what to do.

Thanks for the link, CR Resort Fan 4 Life:thumbsup2 . The Bay Lake view is listed as a "standard" view. I wonder why it isn't specified as "Bay Lake" as the MK view is? This must have been what confused me and the CM.

You're welcome and I guess it's because when either view was by request it was listed as Standard Room - Atrium Club when making a reservation before Janurary 1, 2009. So I guess they think we will assume Standard Room - Atrium Club now means the Bay Lake View because now they have Theme Park View - Atrium Club also listed on their website when making a reservation.

yep..shows that I owe 230 bucks on my reservation...paid it off last week. just called two days in a row to make sure it was on their reservation as paid! Im good to go! :D

Make sure when you do see the changes that the dates and resort information is right. I've changed reservations a couple of times and they've accidentally changed the dates. Luckily I caught it in time, but always check dates and resort and package.

Yippee! My reservation is correct online as of today. I called last night just to verify that they had the changed information and they had it correct. When I mentioned that it hadn't changed online, the CM said "Yeah, sometimes the information transfers over to the online system and sometimes it doesn't".
