How long for BOG lunch?

Going in July and trying to figure out how much time I need to set aside for lunch. We will preorder, but also don't want to feel rushed and want to be able to look around afterward (probably like 10-15 minutes). I want to make it close enough to the 3 pm parade that we don't have a lot of down time between lunch and finding a spot to wait for the parade (probably in Liberty Square, but maybe not). I also don't want to feel rushed. How much time should I set aside? When should I make the reservation?

If you pre-order I’d say an hour is pretty realistic!

I agree with an hour if you preorder. I would say around 1-1:30 for your ADR time. I'm usually in and out in about 45 minutes, and I love just sitting and resting my feet in the AC for a bit after I'm done eating. And FYI - I doubt it's going to take you 10-15 minutes to look around afterwards. Unless you're counting a washroom stop in on that - there really isn't THAT much to see.

Great to know! Thanks!

I would even say an hour is more than enough time if you preorder. We were just there and it probably took maybe 45 minutes and that was with us taking pictures inside and ordering cupcakes last minute.

I too think an hour should be more than enough, unless you opt to linger longer in the air conditioning before heading back out into the heat and humidity!

45 minutes, and that is with taking about 5 - 10 minutes of pictures, I stood there quite a while trying to get a good one of the prince changing to Beast in the picture!!!

I preordered, and I was finished in about 45 minutes. The thing you need to leave extra time for is the line in the ladies room. Every time I have ever been there, I wanted to use the ladies room before I ate, and it took about 15 minutes because there is always a line. It seems like they built a much too small bathroom for the volume of people in the restaurant.

I went to the bathroom after eating and luckily got in right before everyone else! I came out of the stall and was surprised at the line that had formed.

I think an hour is plenty of time with pre-ordering. If i recall for our last visit, we pre ordered, wandered a little to find out table, once we found our spot we grabbed drinks and then shortly after we sat down our food arrived (maybe a total of 15 minutes after we entered the restaurant). giving a 1/2 hour to eat and a few minutes to walk around -- an hour should be perfect. If you are worried about your time you can probably show up a few minutes earlier for your time too.
