Each morning before TSI opens, the CMs hide 4 paintbrushes around and about on the island. They are in 4 different colors, but all encrusted with whitewash, like the paintbrushes that Tom Sawyer conned the other kids into using to whitewash the fence he was supposed to be doing. If you find a paintbrush, you can turn it in to the CM manning the raft in exchange for a certificate that acts as a FP for Splash Mountain or BTMRR.
No joke, on my last Best Buddies trip to WDW, we staked out the entrance to the raft about 20 minutes before it opened up, spreading out our park maps as if we were trying to figure out where we were and where to go next, casually blocking the sign across the path that said TSI opens at 10am, got onto the raft first, angled ourselves over so that we were the first ones on the Island, split up so that one went left and one went right, and starting scouring the paths searching for paintbrushes. We found one!! EASILY the happiest moment of my life so far.
Does it make us more pathetic if I point out that our combined ages are 82?
