I am planning (and planning and overplanning) our trip. The day we are going to do AK (my first time to AK), I have to be back to Coronado Springs for the convention at 3. We are going to do EMH that do at AK, and then my sister will stay with the kids when I go to work. I'm trying to figure out how much I'll be able to do before I leave.
I am assuming (just from looking at pictures) that Kilimanjaro is longer than most rides - covering a big distance in slower moving vehicles. But really, I don't know anything about it. I had told my sister that we would do other things before I left, and that she would take the kids on Kilimanjaro after I headed out. Of everything there, it is the thing that interests me least (not because I don't think it would be cool - I LOVE that sort of thing, but I've been on safari in Kenya for 2 weeks, the real thing - so I'd rather do the rides instead .. EE, etc).
But, I don't want to skip it just because I'm assuming it is an hour affair, if it turns out to be a 15 minute drive through some animals.
