How long does it take you for VMK to load?

It takes me at least 30 minutes or more. I'm sick of waiting forever for it to load. How long does it take you for VMK to load?

I just said 2-10, it really takes me between 45 seconds and a minute and a half.

How does it load for you? For me the VMK logo comes up in 1 second. Then slowly the bar comes up, and it stops right at the end of the "V" in the VMK logo. After the bar's done loading. The bar disappears. 10 to 15 minutes the logo disappears also. Then the "Updating" thing comes up. I see the BSOD, and VMK comes on.

No, I'm not on dial up. I don't have the lastest shockwave, but I'm still able to go on VMK. Not sure if that would be the problem.

Mine really depends, if I'm on the fast computer then it takes me about 2 minutes, but if I'm on the slow one it takes maybe 4 or 5 minutes.

No biggy, as long as you don't disconnect or crash I think its worth it. If I was you, I would do homework or make lunch or something while it loads up, gives you time to do thing you're supposed to be doing, while you're still sort of on VMK .

Mine takes about half a minute to load, 40 seconds at the most. I voted 2-10 minutes as well.

Yesterday I tried to go on VMK. It took a long time, but guess what came up? The "Sorry, VMK has crashed..."

You need to install the latest shockwave.

Mine takes about a minute to load on the laptop. I just wish I could figure out what causes the problem with the desktop. It loads just fine with no long delay but I get an "Internet Explorer has experienced a problem and needs to close" error within about 30-45 seconds of vmk being loaded. The error log says it's because I need to upgrade Flash. I've done that and have even uninstalled and reinstalled Flash about 3 times. Doesn't help a bit. There must be something about my desktop that doesn't like Flash & VMK. Which is strange because I can do anything else that needs Flash. I'm stumped.

I don't have the latest version of Shockwave (I always click "update later" when it asks), and it hasn't affected anything in the game for me. On average, only takes about 40 seconds to load.
