If I am the runner and we are on Tomorrowland, for example, how long does it take to grab your family's passes, run over to DCA, get RSR FPs, then get back to them in DL? Assuming i go at about 10:30? Tomorrow?

If you go at 10:30 tomorrow there might not be any RSR fast passes left!

I did this on a Saturday at the end of February - went over around 9 and it took me about 15 minutes to go from the hub to DCA, grab the fastpasses and come back to the hub. Honestly if you walk fast and are alone you can get far, fast in that place! Our return time was around 1PM. Now, the park was not that crowded so I could just whip along main street and into DCA - there was no line getting into DCA at that point either and there was no line to get RSR FPs - just walked right up.

I'd estimate 20-30 minutes til you meet back up with the group. But watch that DL app, because 10:30 might be pushing it for RSR FP'S! The ride is awesome at night, too!

Have fun!!

Do those passes for your family have to have passed through the turnstiles of DCA at least once that morning before you can use them to get FastPasses in that park? I'm not certain if you can get FPs with tickets that haven't entered the applicable park for the day... Someone here will know!

Tickets used to enter either park are enabled to pull fastpasses at both parks.

The OP should take a peak at the lines to enter DL, before exiting the park. The entry lines are sometimes very long.

Thanks for the info/thoughts. I've been watching the app and am aiming for an evening FP time. I will keep an eye on return times!

Itll take 15-25 minutes depending on how fast you are. I went to grab FPs for Racers today at about 11am and they were at 8-9PM for a return time. Grabbed some at 9am yesterday and the return time was 130-230PM. California Adventure and Disneyland have been pretty tame the first two hours of opening these past few days. Great time to be visiting the parks.

Here's an example. On Wednesday I left DL at 10:13 am. Was standing in line at 10:14 am. Some of the DL and DCA entry lines met in the middle of the esplanade at that point. Finally made it into DCA at 10:28 am. RSR passes were 9 PM at that point, and our family wasn't going to be able to make that work, so I just headed over and grabbed Tower passes. (When we checked the Disney app around 10 AM before I headed over, RSR fps were still being listed as available for 6-something, so that's how quickly they disappear when crowds surge.) Went back out into esplanade at 10:35. Lines looked more like 5-7 minute waits at that point.

Thanks all! Getting RSR FPs went perfectly today (Sunday). App was up to date on FP return times, luckily. I left DL (all the way back in Frontierland) at 10:35, got FPs for exactly when I wanted (7:30), and met my party back where i started in about 40 min. This included exits and entries, a Starbucks stop, bathroom stop and a stop to buy sunscreen. Not bad!! All the great advice helped me plan, so thank you.
