I was just wondering my husband and I will be going to Sea World on our last day of our vacation and it will be on a Saturday..About how long does it take to go through the park if you get there right when it opens?..thanks so much

We got there when the turnstiles opened and we were gone by noon. We did not do the dolphin show or seal show. We just did Atlantis and the Shamu show. It's really kind of a bore once you've done Discovery Cove (which we did two days before).

Gosh, I don't think you gave the park a chance. It really has some good shows and you didn't even try to see them. It is totally different than discovery Cove.
My son went again this week( our family has been going to the park since the 70s and never have a bad day) . He said a must see is the last show of Clyde and Seymour! He said they do a different show than the pirate themed one and it was very very funny. I can't wait to go this week to see it and the new dolphin show.
You didn't do polar express either? If you are there on a slow day and stand at the walrus window , you might even get the walrus to interact with you. I have actually had the walrus do a kiss on the glass like they used to do in the shows.
And the Pet show. LOL My sons thought it was for "babies" all their lives. My 27 year old son saw it for the first time with his girlfriend Thursday. He has talked about how cute it was since he saw it. LOL

The one thing I think the park needs to do though is have more things to do while waiting for Shamu Rocks. We usually have already spent time with the manatees, sharks, and seals etc. There really isn't much to do by then but walk around and eat. Seems to be a shortage of shows to visit after 4.

We have no problem finding enough to do to stay all day....unless it is real hot......then we take an afternoon break and come back later in the evening.

I can spend days there. I love the atmosphere of the park. Sometimes I'll go there for a few hours in the afternoon after work and just catch a show and a ride on Krakken. It can get very crowded though and bottlenecks occur quite often. I wouldn't go there on a very hot day, I was there yesterday and didn't stay long because the mix of crowded sweaty people started to get to me.

Deffinately a full day of activities. I have done this park numerous times and still can spend the full day with the shows and the 3 rides that they have. If you are going to Seaworld for rides only then you will be bored like the previous poster said. I think they went there thinking that Seaworld was a thrill park and let themselves down by not enjoying the numerous shows and activities that they have at the park. I would plan a full day at Seaworld when you come to Orlando.
