How long does it take to get from park to park?

I have read of a lot of people here who do the EMH in the morning for the 1 hour then hop over to another park for its opening. Is there really time for this? Taking into consideration travel time to hop to a different park, wouldn't this leave you with substantially less than an hour in the EMH park? How do you guys make this work? :confused3

I don't recall many, if any that hop and hit rope drop at both parks.. I think most that hop to the emh park stay there until it really starts to fill, then hop and get to the new one well after opening there. By the time you consider getting to rope drop at the new park, the bus ride, and getting to the bus from possibly deep within the emh park, time is pretty short.

Some of it depends which parks they are going to and if they use Disney transportation or not. If you go to fairly close parks and drive yourself, you might be able to do it without many problems or losing too much time.

We just did it last week. Went to AK, did EE and then hoped a bus to TTC then the monorail over to MK. We were on SM by 11:00 after having done two trips down Mt Everest (maybe this should go in the translation thread).

Very easy to do, especially when you consider how many different ways there are to get between most of the parks.

I don't know if the idea was to do EMH only for the hour, but to be able to enter the park prior to eveyone else not staying on property. You'll be able to go through you main rides and once accomplished, and as the park fills, then move on to another park . I have also started at the back of the parks, while other start at the entrance. You get much more accomplished starting at the back, while most visters are in the front. Just a thought...

We do this for morning EMH at MK. Hit the MK just prior to the start of the EMH and stay until about noon. We usually have done everything we hoped for and more and are ready for a break or a different park. We then either hit the resort to swim, have lunch and freshen up and head to a different park for the evening. If we hit another park I generally have made an adr for a late lunch in the next park to rest and recharge that way.

We rarely rent a car and find the transportation is fine. There is park to park transporation from every park to every other park. Either monorial, boat or bus, I usually allow about an hour many times its quicker.
