How long does it take to get developer points posted to your account ?

Hi -

Put down our deposit last night to add on 100 points at AKV !!!

We opted for the developer points as we have Annual Passes good through August .... so we will be taking another trip this summer ! We have an Oct use year so we will be getting another 100 points this Oct 2007.

Anyone know how long it takes to get the developer points posted to your account so you can use them to make a reservation? I called MS and checked on availabiliy for our dates and to my surprise VWL was available but MS could not see the developer points yet, so I wasn't able to book anything. Any estimates on how long it should take ?

You would think that DVC would have Developer Points understood by now but they don't. They have to manually add them into your account. We waited a few days for ours to be added. When they were, they were added wrong. MS couldn't access them. I finally had our Guide fix the problem. By the time we were able to book, our dates were not available.

If given the choice again, we will skip on Developer Points.

we're skipping them - we've talked and talked and decided we aren't going this year so there's no point in having the points (even if we did bank them) so we're opting for the lower monthly fees.

i bet it is frustrating when you're trying to make a reservation and you know you shuld have points but they aren't in yet.

I can answer my own question now ... in our case, everything went well and we now have access to our developer points !
