How Long Does It Take To Get A Quote From Dreams Unlimited?

Thanks for the reply. It's been over 3 hours since I requested a quote, so I think I'll just call WDW directly!

By chance have you checked your spam folder in your inbox of your email?

I received an email saying my quote was being worked on, but never did receive an actual quote. That's pretty slow turnaround time sinceI could just call WDW and get a quote in 10 minutes. I just couldn't do it earlier because I was at work ;)

The amount of time it takes is dependent on a number of factors--the time of day you submit the quote, how busy the site is, how detailed your request is, etc. These factors need to be considered (and sometimes a quote has been prepared but it goes into a spam folder--so checking the client services area on the website is a good idea as well if it has been a long time since the quote was requested and the email received that the quote was being worked on.)

Just an FYI the quote *should* usually be the same as you get from Disney (or possibly lower if there is a discounted offer available.) Most of the time the rates quoted from a travel agency are going to be the same as if you get a quote from Disney directly.

I am sorry but you think 3 hours is too long to wait???
I am sure you aren't the only person requestion a quote and giving them time to get back to you is just common courtesy.

Sorry you think that's a long time. This is the first trip I've worked with DU & I think they're awesome! It might take longer than just picking up the phone & calling WDW directly, but working with them has been a very pleasant experience. I've asked my poor TA to change, re-work, & make a zilliong changes & Sam's been awesome!!!!!! You really should give them a try.

It sometimes took about 24 hrs before I got a quote returned. But, working with DU took so much pressure off me, it was worth the wait. There is a huge difference in booking through WDW directly and booking with DU. DU will continue to look for the cheapest resort rate for you, they will call for your ADRs (I sometimes did my own because I'm a control freak..then had to email my agent with the ADR numbers), they give you a terrific itinerary, answer a myriad of questions, make any and all (for the most part anyway) changes for you. Yep, I love DU and Shirley!!! I don't use them so much anymore since I bought DVC but if I have a trip planned and I'm not using my DVC points, then Shirley at DU gets an email from me!!!

Considering I could pick up the phone and call WDW directly, yes I do think it's a long time. I did end up receiving my quote late last night though. I guess that's my issue..if I book through a company that takes hours to get back to me, what happens if I need something changed, etc? I could just call WDW and have it done in a few minutes vs. several hours. My trip isn't complicated, an adult and child, so for me I've concluded it's just as easy to deal with WDW directly.
