How long does it take for last minute ADR's to show up in the restaurants computer?

A few years ago when my family and I had an ADR at Whispering Canyon while we were waiting to be seated two guests checked-in and the Cast Member said they did not see their ADR. However they mentioned they had just made the ADR in their room and showed the Cast Member their confirmation number which they wrote down. Also I am assuming they were staying at the Wilderness Lodge because they mentioned how they called for the ADR from their room. Since our table was ready just after they arrived we never saw what happened, however I was just wondering in situations like that how long does it take for the restaurants computer to get the information for last minute ADR's?
