Hello:

I have read a few people mention that making their ADRs took a long time on the phone. How long do you think it would take to make 8 ADRs? I have the dining plan.

Thanks for sharing your experiences in this area.

Whatever you do, make sure you use a 1-800 number. If you search this forum, you should be able to find it.

Anywhere from 2 minutes (you get right through) to 20 minutes (you're on hold for a bit) to 40 minutes (you're on hold for a long time).

Hi!

I recently made 8 ADRs, and I got through right away on the 1-800 number, and then it took about 20 minutes. They have to wait for a confirmation number to come through, so that lady on the phone spent the time telling me about the menus at the various restaurants I was booking. Don't do it at a time when you're in a hurry!

Good luck! :flower:

So has the whole "process" for obtaining ressies for CRT changed now with this...

Thank you for the helpful tips. I do have the 1-800 number, but I wasn't sure whether I should use it or not. I will use it now. I will definitely try to get through as soon as they open (7:00 am).

Wish me luck! :wave2:

I found it depended on who you got on the other end. Some people are useful some aren't. Some can speak english, some can't.

Regarding CRT... I've heard that it can actually be easier to get CRT for the time being, since a lot of people don't know about the new 180 days policy. BUT, the prices for CRT are going WAY UP as of February, so that may factor in too... a lot of people can't afford to go anymore!! :sad1:

Thanks for all your replies.

I called this morning and was thrilled to get a kind CM who spoke beautiful English. Everything went smoothly and quickly, and I got everything I wanted.

I did find it funny (odd), though, that CRT breakfast was already full and I called at 7:00 on the dot. I am 180 days out today, so I am surprised that six months in advance it was already full for breakfast. I wanted lunch, though, so that was fine with me. I had my choice of times for lunch.

By the way, I used the 1-800 number as was suggested and saved myself some long distance fees in doing so . . . thanks again! :cool1:
