We are have AP's. Bought them at the end of last June. We are thinking about purchasing DDE, but wanted to know how long they are good for. We have a trip in 19 days for three nights and then a 5 night trip in June. Depending on how long it would be before it expires we could either by one in February to cover this year's two trips or buy one in June and have it cover this June trip and 2009 June trip..

They are good for one year (from date of purchase). If you bought it now, it would be good til end of january 2009. i'd buy it to cover the trips that are the longest number of days on property.

I would suggest getting the DDE card for your upcoming trip. If you have APs, while you are home they will be sitting in a drawer screaming USE ME, especially since they know they are only about an eight hour drive away. In other words, you may make some other unplanned trips.

I got mine last Friday and it says valid until February 28. I plan on using it right up to the last minute!!! I saved a ton just over the weekend!!! More than I spent buying it!:thumbsup2

I think I'll go to guest relations and check on expiration dates and decide then. Thanks for all the input..

Well, it is an ANNUAL card, that i am sure of. As far as expiration dates, they usually allow time for mailing and you may get that extra 30 days or you may not. Last time i ordered mine, it expired at the end of the month, a year from when i ordered it, but i may have ordered it earlier in the month. They probably want to be sure you have a full year of use and chances are the extra days won't matter anyways.

Another tip is that they have been being $65 but now they are only $60. You can save a little bit there too.

Buy the DDE card when you next go to the park (At any guest relations park booth). That way your time doesn't start until literally the day you first use it vs. ordering it and and having the clock start long before first use.

They are as far as I been told good for about 13 months.(They throw in the end of the next month on the 'official' 12 months to give time for people to renew and not be cut off)

I agree.

Ours was good for 12+ months when we got it last year too.
