Hi

We have booked via our travel agent to go to discovery cove. We have no info as yet and was wondering what time do we have to be there in the morning and what time its finishes.

Thanks in advance. We are going in Nov

Check in opens at about 8:00 and the park proper opens at 9:00. however, the stations where you pick up your wet suits and the restaurant are open earlier. We tend to have breakfast first and pick up our wet suits so when the other areas open we are good to go. The park closes at 17:30 (or I should say the attractions). The changing areas, shops and photo pick up locations stay open longer than that.

When you check in, is this when you are allocated your swim with the dolphins time? The later you check in the later your swim time will be???

My inlaws are going for the day while we spend the morning at Typhoon Lagoon with the kids and then rest up before MNSSHP.

So I am just trying to factor it into the plans for the day as we will need to drop them off and pick them up.

Thanks in advance
Kirsten

Yes breakfast is included in the cost, as are lunch, drinks, and snacks.

As far as swim times, yes it seemed that the earlier you get there, the earlier your swim time was. Hope this helps!

Just a note

breakfast is a Continental Breakfast...not an American Breakfast

Cont' = rolls, pastry, cereal, juice, milk, coffee

not eggs benedict, omelets or pancakes

so if you want a full breakfast you need to roll your own. I mention only because some have posted and were disappointed in the breakfast expecting more.

lunch however is the full ride .... plenty for all tastes IME

enjoy

{when we went a couple of years ago it was coffee or orange juice ... it just keeps gittin better huh?}

We arrived at 10:30am and got the second to last dolphin swim of the day, 3:45pm, so I guess most people (though certainly not all) arrive early.

We stayed in the water right until 5:30pm (closing time) and then hit the showers/change room. They told us that the gift shop and photo pickup doesn't close until the last guest has left, which is good to know. I think by the time we were changed and all it was just after 6pm that we picked up our photos. And there were still lots of people changing!

We definitely had enough time to see and do everything several times, but at the same time could have stayed hours longer... next time we go, I'd definitely be there earlier.

Oh and we did have to have lounge chairs quite far away from the swimming areas because the close ones were all taken (but we were close to the dolphin swim pools, which was nice too, and after walking at disney world everything seems super close here anyway)!
