How long does booking ADRs take

Hi,

My 180 day is coming up next month. Originally I thought it was a Sunday but when I look closer I see that it is a Tuesday. If I sign on at 6am, how long does it typically take to book (booking 6 ADRs)? It's a work/school day and we typically get our kids up at 6:30am and are out the door by 7am. I can get my DH to help if needed, but am wondering what to expect (although Disney is a surprise at the moment and our kids will wonder what I'm doing).

Also, is a weekday any easiser for booking ADRs than a weekend, or does it not make a difference?

I timed it when I did it for our upcoming trip. It took between 1 and 2 minutes per online reservation. Practice on the site the day before and you'll be fine.

I honestly think it depends on how cooperative the dining reservation system is being on any given day. When I logged on at 6 am this past Monday to make our reservations, it took me about 30 minutes to make 7 ADRs. I got a "reservation system is down" type message that turned out to be a false alarm, as well as a "blip in the system" message on the MDE iPhone app.

I'm not 100% sure about booking on a weekday vs. weekend, but I wouldn't think it makes a huge difference.

I agree it depends on this system. I was only able to book one ADR this morning online. It keep giving me error message. I had to call at 7 and get the rest of mine.

Thank you for the responses. Sounds like it "shouldn't take too long" if there are no issues. I imagine too some quick decisions are required if the restaurant time doesn't quite match what you want.

Mind you...one of my options is Hollywood & Vine with Fantasmic an I'm not even sure you can book that online so I may have to wait until 7am to call in (which I imagine is NOT a quick process and it would be hard to get through).
