your cell phones last? :confused3 I have to replace mine about every 6 months! It doesnt matter if I spend $25,$100, or $300 on one, they still dont last! :confused3

My DH has had the same one for 3 or 4 years. I just got mine in January and it's still fine. We don't use them all that much so maybe that's why they last.

What brand do you have? I have Verizon Wireless and my husband and I get them replaced every two years. Do you abuse your cell phone like I do mine, for example..dropping it all the time? That's just what I do all the time and not even on purpose, I guess I'm just a clutz. :rotfl2:

What do you do to it? :rotfl2:

You realize that you're not supposed to swim with it, drop it in your iced tea :rolleyes1 or let it fall it in the toilet, right? Mine usually last the 2 years, or close enough to it that they let me get it for the renewal rate.

When my DH's stopped working last time (at almost 2 years) he'd dropped it on the ground one too many times and the ringer stopped working. He didn't think that mattered. We waited until he was at the 2 year mark (a month or so later) and then went and got new phones.

It never said that in the owners manual!! :confused3

I have the Treo 650, so it isnt a cheap cheap phone. :confused3

We've had our Nokia's for nearly two years now...and no problems. They were free with our package (T-Mobile).

We've been thinking of changing (there's a new "free" offer), but I'm not sure yet.

I've never had one wear out. I get sick of them after around 2 years & get a new one, but I've never had a problem with a phone, ever.

I usually change mine every 2 years, not because of any problem but just because I get a new contract and new phone at the same time.
