How long do you stay?

For this trip we are staying 9 nights/10 days because this is a special trip. Normally, we stay 7 nights/8 days.

In the past, we normally stayed about a week. This year we only have a few days planned because we're going to try other things in the area. It's a weird feeling!

We've only been out twice, not sure if that qualifys for an average!

First trip: July 2002 Stayed for 5 days. We felt rushed and promised ourselves that any future trips would be 6 days or more. Disney World is a big place!

Second trip: December 2003 Stayed for 13 days on annual passes!

If we continue to purchase annual passes for future trips, our average will be between 8-13 days. If we buy park hoppers, our average will be 6-7 days.

We like to average 3 weeks every trip because of the distance involved travelling transatlantic.

Our last trip was 17 night stay but we spent 3 of those night at Universal. We have 2 trip coming up this year one will be a 5 night stay for DH i'm staying for 8 night F&W festival. Then i come home unpack, wash and repack because i'm going back for Mousefest cruise/WDW plus i've added on extra days at WDW so i'll be there from Dec 4-20. Now it should be needless to say that when talking about our vacations add on has now become a dirty word.

I'm not sure if we qualify either to state an "average" length of stay since our vacations to WDW are usually far apart. This will be the first year we have gone 2 years in a row and also the first time we will be staying for 10 nights. Usually we try for a 7 nights, since it takes us at least one day to fly there and one day back.
:sunny:

Going in July for 2 weeks. That will be the longest we have ever stayed there. Usually we stay for 10 days.

5 days at WDW and 2 days at Universal, an 8 night stay generally.

We generally stay for 7 full days. I wish it was more. We go to each park 1 day, have 2 "rest" days mixed in, and revisit our favorites on the last day. We usually go in October so it isn't very crowded and generally we get to do everything we want---but we could always use more time at Disney!!!!:sunny:

We are going for 7 days: 2 days Disney, 1 day TL + DQ, 1 day Universal, 1 rest day, 1 day - Kennedy Space Center, 1 day - Silver Springs. That' s the plan anyway..

We usually stay about 10 days. My dh is blessed with 5 weeks vacation. I plan the budget and see how long the $ will last. By the 9th day the ds really want to get home and be with their friends and by then too the clean clothes are just about gone. I still hate saying good bye. Also by then DH imagines what disasters are occuring at work etc. We timed it great last time and missed the huge blackout here on the east coast. Couldnt think of a better place to be than at disney.

I think that 7 days is the right amount of time for myself....our upcoming trip is only 4 nights/5 days....not long enough but all the time I could get off

We will be there for six nights in May, I'd love to spend one or two more nights, but with our budget six nights is as much as we can afford!!!

This is our first year with an annual pass. So....we get to stay for 14 nights in Aug. 2004 and 14 nights in June 2005. WOOHOO! I'm so excited I'm just about to pop! I probably won't see Disney again for many years after. My DH would like to do something else (We'll see;) ).
