My DH is loyal...to a fault. He works for a small company, started by a fellow he used to work with. When this guy started his firm, he asked DH to take the risk and join him. I guess it has been about 9 years now, and the company has been on shakly ground financially for at least 3.
The big problem is that the architects & construction management firms they work for are apparently all crooked, because they don't pay their subs. I know that is the truth, because the AG is investigating at least one of them. While the boss is a brilliant engineer, he is not a great business man and I don't see this lasting much longer. But DH has turned down offers and I know he won't look for aother job until this place folds.
When is it enough? DH works 60 hours most weeks and is under crushing stress, and it is not like he's getting six figures. How can I convince him to look out for himself?
