Its been just about 24hrs. DH thinks we need to wait another 24
How long do you wait for the branches to come down before putting lights on, decorating, etc?

It depends on how rigid the tree is.
Usually it takes about 24-48 hours to loosen up and get into the optimal position

We cut ours, so it is only tied for a little while. So once it is set up I decorate.

LOL! The year our son was born, the tree sat in it's stand with one ornament on
it until we took it down on the 6th!
