How long do the FastPass return lines get?

Hi everyone!
I seem to remember that the Fast Pass return lines grow longer as the day goes on (and we have always gone in May). This year we are going in June so I am worried about the crowds. When returning to attractions to use our FastPasses, how long might the return line be?

Thanks for your help

When I was there 2 weeks ago, the safari return time was longer than usual, I'd say 10 or 15 minutes. Space Mountain was about 5 minutes, they funneled the fasspass people into the front line of the platform (standby was about 55 minutes).

The longest I've ever waited in a return line is about 10 minutes, with the exception of Test Track. TT breaks down so often that the Fastpass line often gets really backed up... we waited about 30 minutes for TT with a Fastpass once. Of course, the standby line was 2 hours long, so this was the better alternative. :)

On a side note, what are the longest wait times for the standby lines that anyone has ever seen? I saw a line for TT that was 2hours 40 minutes once, and a line for Peter Pan's Flight that was 2 hours 20 minutes. Fortunately we had just rode Peter Pan twice in a row the night before during E-ride so we didn't feel too compelled to join in. :)

Well, if the FP line is 15-30 minutes long, can you just get in line 15-30 minutes before your time? Just so that you will actually be riding about the time you were supposed to? And, then can move on to get another FP. So you aren't delayed too long by an FP line.

The longest we have ever had to wait in a Fast Pass line was about 10 minutes. Test Track had just opened and the regular line was over 2 1/2 hours. THFF (Thank God For FastPass!!)

You have to show your FastPass to a CM before you enter the line, so no, you can't get in line before your FastPass time.

Since some fellow DISers taught me this lesson I usually just walk onto the FP line. Never, never return at the starting time of the FP, so many do and that makes for a longer line.

Slightly Goofy

Sorry to disagree with most of the voices here...Just got back and waited in FP line for 20 minutes on a MONDAY at MK for PP. Every where else was walk on..go figure!!

I've noticed that the FP lines for Peter Pan and Pooh seem to be longer than average... perhaps because those rides are relatively low-capacity. The longest we waited for a FP line was for Pooh, actually.

We were there last year the week of June 12 and the longest we waited in a fastpass line was probably 10 minutes...and we did all the big rides. I worried about the crowds for our June trip (and the heat), but we thought it was fine. I 'd go again in June anytime. This year we're going Easter week. Now, this trip will probably be crowded!!

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad had a great option for the Fast Pass line whe we were there on Sunday. They were running both trains, with one side for stand-by and the other for Fast Pass, virtually eliminating any wait times for the ride. There was no merging in with the other line at all, making for sort of a VIP feel to it. It was great.

The longest times have been for Peter Pan and Test Track at about 15 minutes. Not too bad compared with a standby of over an hour!
