How long do 15th birthday celebrations last

Were going in March, and I wondered if the 15th birthday celebrations are still on. We've never been this time of year (26th - 30th) and wondered what will be going on with parades etc, and what the park closing hours are.
We arrive late afternoon on the 1st day and leave approx midday on the 5th day, so I also wondered if anyone had any advice about park tickets, as we're staying at Explorers, booked indipendantly so tickets not included.

Thanks,

Hi,

The 15th anniversary celebrations have been extended to March 2009, so you will see it all on your trip. Park closing times are on the official Disney site here -

http://news.disneylandparis.co.uk/calendar/index.xhtml?

For tickets, you might be cheaper buying annual passes, as you will need park tickets of at least 3 days duration? Check out attractiontix for example, to get an idea of how much it would cost you for park hopper tickets for the duration of your stay, and then look at the DLRP Magic website for details of annual passes -

http://www.dlrpmagic.com/guides/practical/annualpassports/

If you do decide on annual passes, they are very simple to buy at the Disneyland Park, and you can get 10% off the price if you get a sponsor (there is a sponsorship thread on this website). Also, if you have any children aged under 7 with you when you travel, and you buy an adult pass, they qualify for a free annual pass of the same type. You can't combine both these offers (sponsor and free kids pass) but depending on how many adults/children there are in your party, you could still benefit from both.

Hope this helps,

Elaine

such a shame... we're going in april and guess the 15th b'day will be over... we saw all the b'day parades etc in july 2007 but it'd be lovely to see it all again! nevermind...

I'm sure it'll be just as lovely as it always is and I can't wait to go back!:cloud9:

To be honest, I think it's a little bit strange that they've extended the celebrations till March 2009! So it would be the 17th anniversary by '09.

On the other hand, if you celebrate the 15th long or often enough, the 20th is no so far away :lmao:

March 2009 !! :)

We are going in july - sooooooooooo looking forward to it. What are the extra 15th anniversary parades? Previously visited Easter 2005 and August 2006.
Do you know if they do the evening parades in July?

The parade is "Just like we dreamed it". You'll see photographs in the trip report index if you want to see it and if you check on youtube you'll find videos. Mind you that might spoil the surprise.

Last July in the height of summer season the evening parade was Fantillusion :)
