We went to one tonight and it lasted about a hour...It was brutal with Mandy being so antsy..she was good, just antsy...lol...and Cassie fell asleep in my arms....:)

btw--Our was a 'express'...I think it was about 10-15 minutes...

Mine was express too. It would have helped if I was on time. lol

lol, We must have had the same minister. We got the express version also. Now the honeymoon............that's a different story!;)

I BELIEVE IN TAG FAIRIES. DO YOU? :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Ours was maybe 20 minutes? That was long enough for me! I hate being in front of people!

First one, at church, lasted about 35 minutes. Second one, at Justice of the Peace was maybe 5-10 minutes total.

Ours was supposed to be 15 minutes or so, but our minister kind of waxed philosophically for quite some time. LOL

A lot of weddings we go to are about an hour or so as they are Catholic masses.

Ours was a full Catholic mass, so it lasted a full hour (maybe a tad more). My brother's was about 5 and my sister's about 15 maybe (neither religious ceremonies)

??? I have no clue! LOL! I was told I arrived about a half hour late. But I have no clue what time it was over. ;)

So long ago it's hard to remember but I would guess the ceremony in church was about 45 minutes.

Church wedding, just under 12 minutes start to finish- no singing, no reading.

Mine was supposed to start at 5:30, but it was late because one of our readers showed up late...his girlfriend was having a bad hair day so they were in a fight. It probably lasted about 45 minutes, once it finally started.
Reception was immediately following and went until well after midnight.

Full Catholic mass wedding, about one hour!

Sit-down dinner reception with a live band, 4 hours that included an open bar the entire time.

I wasn't wearing a watch. I'd say it was about a half an hour, give or take five minutes. That's about how long I could stand in that dress!

I would say ours was at least an hour - catholic mass. Our wedding was really nice, but I think if I could do it all over again, I would just elope. So many other things that money could have been spent on.

Probably about 20 minutes start to finish. Reception lasted 6+ hours cause we were having a great time!

Ours lasted 2.5 days with all of the fanfare and get togethers... from Friday night's rehearsal to Sunday's after-luncheon. The day-of was a little over an hour for the Catholic Mass ceremony, then about 1.5 hours at my Mom's house pre-reception, and a 5 hour reception that went overtime.

My brother was married by a Catholic priest... outside... in 103 degree heat. His lasted about 7 minutes including processional and recessional. The priest said that he'd provide the couple with a written copy of his sermon on which they could reflect later so he could get us all back in the airconditioned estate.

:DThe actual ceremony (non-religious) lasted about 30 minutes.

DB (who was also my "Best-Man" and a "proud" atheist) timed the wedding and said, "This is why I love Methodist weddings, 35 minutes."

I don't have to like his belief system, but he's still my DB.
