How long did you wait for EM to be assigned?

To all Custom Brides - I was wondering how long it took from Disney receiving the signed contract/cashing of the deposit check until your EM was assigned?

I think the last I heard they assign them weekly on a Tuesday. If you know for sure that they have your contract and money, I would follow up with your SM to make sure that they have it first. Wait about 2 or so weeks. If you haven't heard anything give your SM a call. Remember that May is one of their most busy months, and they are back to back. It may take a bit longer this time of year.

Boy, I can't remember offhand. I ~think~ it took a few weeks before mine was assigned. But mine was an unusual case as the EM who was assigned to me did not work for the Fairy Tale Weddings Department.

I'll try to dig up my old information and see if I can figure out the timeline. If I can, I'll post it here.

We sent our deposit and contract in on April 18th and got a phone call from my assigned EM on April 27th. It was pretty quick for me.
