i officaily started the Atkins diet on Wed. 2/11
i have eaten nothing but meat eggs cheese black olives
tuna and bacon
i drink almost 4 quarts of crystal light a day for my water (which i know learned is not the way to go thank you to the boards here )
when should i know if this diet is going to work for me
because i have actually gained 2 lbs
also i read that calcium supplements can help with the weight loss
true?? or not
i am not discouraged yet just wondering

Are you doing any type of exercise? Hang in there.
And I recommend doing your measurements too. The scale hasn't moved for me in about 3 wks, but I'm definitely losing inches. Hang in there and don't get discouraged!
