How long before you have a members No.?

Hi folks,got a parcel from DVC today & thought that it would include our Member cards,but it was actually our 2009 planner,a brochure on BLT & some goobldegook about tax & financing (?).Just wondering when we get allocated a Member No.? As we can't log on the DVC site until we have one,don't really need it until July,my Sister is going to use our points this year, but just would like to have it so we can truly feel part of the club!

As you bought resale, your broker will contact you upon closing. At that point it takes 7-10 days to get into the Disney system (we were in in 5 days) and your broker should provide you with instructions on where to call and what to do to get your membership number and log-in intructions. It can take up to 6 weeks from this point to get the actual card. HTH.

(I'm now waiting for the postie hoping I get the new planner today too)!

Well got our members cards today,so you would think that that means that we could log on to the member's site! Alas no! It appears we need an ID No. & pin code as well Now waiting for a reply to my e-mail
