how long before wedding coord assigned

We booked and paid our deposit last month on may 15. It's now over a month later and we still havent heard from anyone at disney... The only thing we got was an email with a link to our wedding website.... Does it usually take this long for them to get in touch with you... our wedding is this december I'm getting kinda worried...

yeah, I think I would call and ask them about it. You should have received a planning packet already. Just call the person you booked with and ask them to refer you to your coordinator. The person that I booked with told me who my coordinator was going to be so they should know that information.

I would go ahead and call.

When I booked in April, I was told it takes about a month to get the information from your coordinator. Since it's been at least that long, I would call.

But, from my perspective, you got a bonus because you already got your website! I JUST got mine about 2 weeks ago and my plans have changed (because of the renovations at the Poly) so now my website is wrong and I can't seem to find out how to get it edited!

I booked last month for a wedding next May and was told that "your wedding coordinator will contact you in about 2 months". But our website was up in about two weeks and our wedding isn't until next May!

We are 'booked' for our wedding next March (have locations on hold, etc) but haven't signed a contract yet -- not until July for us. But we also don't have our website yet (didn't even know we could have this already!)

It's so funny with all the conflicting information people get from Disney. My wedding is this September 1st and I emailed and asked when I would get my website and I was told that the tech group was only just getting the August wedding websites up now, but that they would move mine up on the schedule and I just got the preliminary site last week! Oh well...yes I would call and see where your wedding planner (that's what they call them now) is...

Call them!!! I was told about 2 weeks but because I booked over the holidays it would be a bit longer. I hadn't heard anything at a month so I called, so glad I did because I had "fallen out of the system" to get an EM. Everything worked out fine, me wedding wasn't gone they just kinda forgot me for a month, so deffinatly call. Once I called I had my EM in 2 weeks. Good luck. As for my website, still haven't seen or heard anything on getting that.
