How Long Before Credit Card Credited Back After Cancelling

We had a change in plans for Xmas and won't be at WL after all (not to despair, we'll be on a 3 day Disney cruise, 1 night at POFQ, and back on an RCCL cruise). I had put a deposit down on the WL rooms and cancelled them last week. I was told 4-6 weeks before all clears but have heard varying stories.

If you've cancelled, how long before your deposit was credited back to your card?
 
I changed some ressies today and the CM told me that it can take two billing cycles for the refund to show up on your statement. I think it's credited sooner but just takes time for it to post.

Last week I had to cancel our November trip,
and haven't yet rescheduled for February.

So when I called CRO to cancel,
when all was said & done with the CM
I asked, "When can I expect to have my
credit card refund posted?"

She replied, "2-3 weeks."

I said, "What?? It didn't take you that
long to charge me when I made the
reservation!!"

There was an obvious break/interruption
on her end, and she quickly said,
"Oh, I mean 2-3 days."
I had a credit 2 days later...
 

Your credit card is credited within 7-10 days.

It could take up to 2-3 billing cycles to see the credit (depending on your bank).

I was told 2-3 billing cycles, but my account was credited 3 days later. :D
 
Lo & behold, I looked at my online credit card statement today and my credit appeared. I cancelled mid-week last week so it really took no time at all.
 
I cancelled ressies on 7/20/04 and have yet to see my credit! Boy, they do take their time giving the money back, don't they!:rolleyes:

I think I would call about that. I just got off the phone with CRO because they messed up a reservation. I knew that there was a problem because I only saw the one room credit (which was about 4 days after I called) and not the other. Don't trust 'em!
 
I just cancelled our Cabin and made a ressie at Pop. She told me I would have credit within two business days. I will calling my cc company to make sure.
 
I called. Geez, am I getting the run around! First, the CM I got spent 20 minutes trying to get someone from guest services to talk to me. When I got someone, she couldn't find my ressie numbers!! I was on the phone over an hour (on my dime, of course!) She said she'd investigate and call me back today!

Boy, with everything I've gone thru so far to get this vacation up and running and trying to get the best price....Disney is losing it's magic!

They have a toll free number (sorry I didn't mention this before)
1-800-828-0228. I agree, the amount of time I have spent on these reservations really does take away from the magic. Please let us know if they did, in fact, credit you.
