How long are ceremonies at WP

How long does the average ceremony at the Pavillion take? Or should I say what is the amount of time that they allow you to be there?

Hey Meranda,

I believe that they allow you about an hour and a half for the ceremony and pictures. Our ceremony starts at 2:30 and we should be finished about 3:15 and have the pavilion until 4 PM for pictures.

I could be wrong though, that just might be because there isn't another wedding until much after ours.

You do get the WP for an hour and a half. The first half hour is used to set up for your wedding, and to seat your guests, etc. Then you'll have your ceremony (our's lasted 30 minutes, from when the mother's were seated to when we did our staged exit) and that will leave you for aprox. 30 minutes for pictures after the wedding.

then how long will the reception be if the ceremony gets 1.5 hours?

Pete,

I think that depends on the wedding. Our cocktails start at 5:30PM at the Isola and our reception is from 6:30 until Midnight at the American Adventure Rotunda.

I think it also depends on who else is scheduled for that date, if there are no other weddings around your time you can have extra time. We had no one after us and were allowed to stay as long as we wanted. Although I think our ceremony was about 15 minutes from start to finish! Or at least it felt like it just flew by!
