I just got my tags within the last week. Before that I had never been blessed by the Tag Fairy Gods.

I don't think it is post count or how long you've been posting...

it's when the tag fairy is just feeling fluttery--and is amused by something you have posted.

I was in the several-1000s..and on for about a year.

About 4 months and I had a few hundred posts. It's all a matter of being in the right place at the right time.

My first tag showed up at around post 500. Trust me, the tags are better when you don't whine for them...my first tags were kinda lame.

I agree..the more you beg the less likely you'll get a Tag.. Tag fairies don't like to be questioned.. or harassed..

I had almost 1,000 posts before I had a tag, then by accident I deleted them and was so upset.. I had one really good tag that I liked alot. I have seen people with very few posts get tags.. It depends on how witty you are and if the Tag Fairy feels up to tagging that day or not.. Good Luck, and keep patient, you'll eventually have 1 or more..
