How likely? - Second Round FPs

How likely ill we be to get second round FPs for Rockin' Roller Coaster and Test Track? I'm guessing the odds are good, but just want t be sure. Chose TSM as Tier 1 for HS and FEA as Tier 1 EP.

The FAQ is generally OK on this but as with most things - not always that simple. I've never had a problem getting a 4th FP for almost any ride at the parks. However, there are definitely things that affect that:
1. When are you going? Much easier during non-peak times.
2. How many of you? Much easier to get a 4th FP for 2 than for a group of 8.
3. How much time do you want to spend on your phone? This is the key one to me. When you check for 4th FP availability on your app, the availability with change each time you refresh. Availability can literally change every few seconds. Spending 10 minutes while you're walking or online continually refreshing will often bring up some rare FP openings. Again - crowd size and party size will affect this. And usually when one of those rare ones pop up it will be for 1-2 times slots and not wide open. But last trip I got Soarin (multiple times), 7DMT, RnR, TSM as 4th FP. Doesn't always work - you're at the whim of timing and it will likely take more than 1-2 checks. But don't give up if there's something you really really want (and although I haven't been there since opening, I wouldn't count on this for any of the Pandora rides!)

Same. With the addition of the new track at TSMM I have found it easier to get FP at it than I find at RnR. On avg.

Last week, there were *always* TSMM FPs. RnR FPs did happen, but much less frequently.

The common denominator for success with same-day FP is checking MDX regularly if not constantly, as mentioned in that post.

Imagine how much longer the FP FAQ's first posts would be if I didn't try to keep it simple.

Ok so the consensus is that I should change my TSM to RnR and chance a 4th TSM. There are 4 of us. Her is another scenario...I am not going on RnR but the rest of my group is. Can I schedule 1 TSM for later in the day for me and add them in after they've completed the initial 3?

We got FP for Test Track at Epcot after we had used up our 3. They were for 7 p.m.

And I've also had success breaking up our group and getting 1 FP for each of us at different times but with an overlapping window.
Just did one at a time.

Thank you. Will it work me having a one person FP for TSM later in the day and then adding them to it after they've used their initial three? I know the system allows changing people in the group and/or adding, but will it work day of after completing initial 3?

I don't know what TSM is but if that one person is not using a FP from that tier for earlier in the day, then yes, it's easy to add the FP for the others if it's available.
