How likely is a reservation for CRT to open up 1/1-1/4?

This is our first family trip to Disney (I've been several times pre kids). I wanted to take my girls to CRT for breakfast but they are booked solid. We are going to be there Jan 1-4. Should I keep checking to see if a reservation opens up or is it a lost cause?
We just found out we were going last week or I would have made reservations earlier!

Always keep trying. CRT has a strong cancellation policy, and as such, people are far more prone to cancel than risk not showing up.

Yesterday my sister was able to book a CRT dinner for Christmas Day so anything is possible! Keep trying and something will open up!

Chances are good but it requires constant checking! It's a gamble...but I spent two days online and was able to do it. My TA booked us awful times for our ADR's so I had to go back and do my own...10 days before we leave!!! We now leave in 3 days and just a few days ago I was able to change my 10:20 am CRT (departure day, we never would have made it, our flight leaves too close to that time) reservation to a 4pm dinner the evening before. For us 4pm is ideal because we'll be up and early at the parks and I have three kiddos, the youngest being a year old so we needed an earlier dinner. Keep checking!!

A few weeks ago, after booking BoG and having some time to revel in it, I decided it would be amazing to have a day of 2 castles...so I decided CRT for breakfast that morning would be ideal. It also had to be the 8:05a. Afer a few weeks of stalking I got an 8:05a. The ADR is two days before Thanksgiving and right at the beginning of the FLE preview- so not exactly a low volume time either.

LOL, I did exactly the same thing. I kept that page open on my desktop computer and every time I walked by I checked again. Our BOG is at 7:30. First I found a 2:15 CRT lunch, but kept looking and eventually got it moved to a 10 AM breakfast after our 8:05 BBB. It's going to be an awesome day!

OP, keep at it. I bet you'll find something.
